Greatest car had to have our greatest engine. Introducing the New AM11 Gen4 V12 - the most powerful production engine in Aston Martin history. 573 PS. 620 Nm of torque. 0-62mph in 4.1 secs. Vanquish has the greatest performance numbers ever reached in an Aston Martin, it’s not a Grand Tourer, it’s a Super Grand Tourer.
The new Vanquish uses an all alloy, independent variable cam shaft timing, 48-valve V12 engine which produces 565 bhp @ 6,50 rpm with peak torque of 460 lb-ft @ 5,500 rpm. The car’s top speed is 205 mph. It utilizes a fully catalysed stainless steel exhaust system with active bypass valves. The Vanquish uses an updated touchtronic2 transmission. It is available only in automatic form unlike the DBS. The Vanquish is the first Aston Martin to utilize ‘launch control’. This is a motorsport derived system that delivers optimum take-off from a standing start balancing throttle, gearbox and various traction aids to deliver “the perfect launch.”

The new Vanquish is a synthesis of form and function. A synergistic approach with a continuous ring of 2X2 twill weave augmenting the front splitters, continues around the side skirts, and finishes with an exotic rear diffuser. The carbon fibre design is actually measured and positioned so the subtle weave flows precisely accentuating the luxury and elegance. To add more panache, an exposed carbon fibre roof, door handles, and wing mirrors are available as an option.
Dynamic Stability Control and Positive Torque Control synthesize a rewarding, controlled, not to mention refined Grand Tourer experience. Aston Martin’s Adaptive Damping System (ADS) allows the driver to select from three different modes: normal, sport, and track. This system automatically calibrates the car’s ride & handling characteristics. This allows the Vanquish to perform as a docile city cruiser, or the driver can “unleash the beast” with the sport and track modes. The ADS adjusts the suspension settings ensuring that the driver has full control at all times with the ability to respond quickly to different driving situations.

Luxury redefined finest interior

This is the most luxurious interior ever produced. A unique Vanquish design combines the widest choice of materials and finishes ever created for a GT. All new ergonomic interior environment groupings and carbon fiber interior finishes. Contrasting seat accent colors and unique hour-glass stitching. Ultimate Grand Tourer now comes with the ultimate Aston Martin lightweight seat, reducing weight by 17kg. Specially developed for driver and passenger rigidity, lateral support, and sporting performance, an advanced composite structure includes both Kevlar® and carbon-fibre. With an exposed carbon-fibre weave on the rear and exquisite hand-trimmed leather and alcantara on specially designed front panels, the new lightweight Vanquish seats combine sports tailoring with sports performance.

Body

  • New generation bonded aluminum and carbon fiber VH structure
  • Aluminum, magnesium alloy and carbon-fiber composite body
  • Extruded aluminum door side-impact beams
  • Bi-xenon headlamps

The Vanquish was based on two concept cars, the Zagato roadster and the Bertone Jet. It is a front engine rear drive dream. Beauty, luxurious elegance, and NOTORIOUS performance highlight this Super Grand Tourer. Aston Martin begins its second 100 years with impressive technology, exemplary engineering focus, and dedication to quality, fit, and finish. The Aston Martin philosophy is writing chapters in automotive history…….of what a Super Grand Tourer should be.
