The Ferrari Millenio is a stunning futuristic
electric concept car. Its body is made of Bucky paper, a thin sheet made
from an aggregate of carbon nanotubes (50,000x thinner than human hair),
that is stronger than steel and lighter than carbon fiberit
would feature two electric motors which can be recharged via solar panels
molded around the bodywork or through a traditional power point socket.. A beautiful mix of complex materials, technology, and
design. Enjoy!
As you can see from the incredibly detailed renderings, the Millenio is
a two-seater supercar that features no roof, no windscreen, and no doors.
The Millenio also features a whole host of LCD-displays throughout the cockpit with the
prominent speedometer being the focal point of the interior. Even though the
Millenio was designed well before the introduction.
We may all
be flying around in futuristic cars powered solely by energy-efficient and
environmentally friendly electronic systems. Nevertheless, it’s great to see
designers out there continuing to push the envelope of design and that’s one
thing we never want to change.
